We are looking to build a network of clans:
We hope to build a network of family clans for three reasons: (1) All the top clans have a network of players that goes beyond their own clan. These clans have either build "2.0 versions" of their clans, or they have recruited other clans to join their network. The future of COC is leaning towards strong networks, especially in the war community. (Don't believe me? Just check out the Lost Phoenix family at www.lostphoenixgaming.net. Yeah. Legit.) All individual clans will eventually have to join a family clan, or they will most likely dissolve. Why? Because as the old proverb goes, "it takes a village...". Family clan networks have numerous people sharing responsibilities, which allows serious players to remain in a legit clan while being able to balance the realities of life. Clan networks tend to have a player or two who posts videos on Youtube, or who even broadcasts live streams on Kamcord, Twitch or Youtube. In essence, clan networks allow players to become more skilled and more informed clashers. Thus, the second reason we want to build a family network is (2), so that people can develop their skills by sharing and obtaining information without being burnt out from the game. For example, there was a study done in the early 2000's about the most stressful jobs and the jobs with the highest turnover rate. The number 1 and 2 most stressful jobs were Wall Street stock brokers, and the other were middle school/high school teachers. The average Wall Street broker quiet their jobs within the first 3 years of their start date. On the flip side, the average school teacher had (and continues to have) a long career averaging 15-20 years. Why? Think about it...the average stock broker made well into a six figure income annually. The average school teacher made an annual income of $30,000-$40,000 within their fist 5 years of employment. The study showed that teachers were able to survive because they were all part of a network of other teachers...they were part of a community of like minded individuals. Think about it. Teachers have lunch with other teachers, go to bars after school with other teachers, and they pretty much have enough in common and encounter enough obstacles in the same arena to hold a conversation for years. Teachers stick together. Its the community that enables longevity. Therefore, the last reason is simple, we want to build a network so that (3) we can make new friends while being able to enjoy the game long term. We are currently working on developing our communications by uploading more and more content on the web, and at some point we will have a fully functioning live stream where arranged wars (where members from each family clan will be involved) will broadcast live. If you are a clan leader, co-leader or elder, and would like to join our network, please fill out the information below.
